Representatives from partner organisations met in Toulouse to officially kick-off the project by delving into the essential aspects of the projects. Partners revised the project’s objectives, timeline and target groups and then moved on discussing the core elements of the first 12 months of the project. The meeting ended with the initial plans for the LTTA1 in Denmark.
During the youth mobility in Copenhagen, participants engaged in activities such as a study visit to the European Environment Agency, discussions on youth civic engagement and EU elections. Young people also created voting infographics, engaged in a mock EU election workshop, drafted lobbying letters, and visited to the Europa Experience center. These activities aimed to empower youth in democratic participation and environmental activism.
During the five-day youth mobility in Lisbon, participants engaged in team-building exercises, explored how to set up NGOs, developed business plans for social enterprises, and learned about project management, leadership, and EU funding opportunities. They practiced pitching their ideas, visited a local NGO for real-world insights, and took part in cultural nights celebrating the diverse backgrounds of the group.
